RETURN & REFUND POLICY

You may request to cancel your order at any time before the order has been marked as “Dispatched” in our system. An order is considered dispatched once a shipping label has been generated, a tracking number assigned, or the item has entered the final shipping process.
For cancellations made before dispatch, a 5% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.
Pre-Order Items
Items labeled as “Pre-Order” are not yet released and will ship on or after the listed release date at the time of purchase.
If you wish to cancel a pre-order, the following terms apply:
Cancellations made 30 or more days before the listed release date qualify for a full refund with no cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 30 days of the release date may be subject to the standard 5% cancellation fee, or may be declined if the order is already in fulfillment.
If the release date is delayed by the manufacturer or publisher by more than 14 days, you may cancel your pre-order at any time before it ships for a full refund with no cancellation fee.
The “expected release date” is based on information available at the time of purchase and is subject to change by the manufacturer or distributor.
Limits & Abuse Prevention
We reserve the right to limit or deny cancellation requests from customers showing patterns of excessive cancellations or suspected abuse.

We offer a 30-day return window. You must initiate your return within 30 calendar days of receiving your order, as confirmed by tracking data.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return:
The item must be sealed, unused, and in its original condition
All original packaging, inserts, tags, and accessories must be included
A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from us before sending any item back
Approved returns must be shipped within 7 days of receiving RMA approval. Returns shipped after this period may be denied.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless damaged or defective, the following items are not eligible for return:
Opened or unsealed trading card products (e.g., booster packs, booster boxes, starter decks)
Opened board games or miniatures
Pre-owned or secondhand items
Digital or downloadable content (e.g., codes, PDFs, redemption cards)
Limited edition or pre-order exclusives clearly marked as “Non-Returnable” at checkout
Items returned with signs of opening, tampering, resealing, or misuse will be declined for refund or exchange.

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery (per tracking confirmation).

A description of the issue
Clear, high-resolution photos of:
The damaged or defective item (from multiple angles)
The shipping box
The original label and any visible damage
Once verified, we will offer a resolution, which may include:
A replacement item
A full or partial refund
Store credit
Important:
Claims submitted after 3 days of delivery may not be eligible for resolution. Items with signs of intentional damage or misuse are not eligible for compensation.

We offer exchanges only for items that arrive damaged or defective.
To qualify for an exchange, you must:
Inspect your order upon delivery
Contact us within 3 calendar days
Provide clear photos (see "Damages & Issues" section)
If a replacement is unavailable, we will offer a full refund or store credit. If you prefer not to receive a replacement, a refund may be issued instead.
Important:
Exchanges will not be issued without prior approval
Items with intentional damage or misuse are not eligible
We do not offer exchanges for buyer’s remorse, wrong size ordered, or change of mind

Once we receive your return, we will inspect it to ensure it meets all criteria:
The item must be sealed, unused, and in original condition
It must include all original packaging, tags, and accessories
All tamper-evident or security seals must be intact, unbroken, and untampered with
Photo Documentation Requirement
To protect both you and our store, we strongly recommend taking clear, high-resolution photos of the package before opening, showing:
All visible sides of the box
Tamper-evident seals
The shipping label
Any exterior damage
Blurry, incomplete, or missing photos may delay or reduce refund eligibility.
Refund Process
If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Please Note:
Original shipping charges and applicable cancellation or restocking fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
If your return is not approved, you will be notified and may request the item returned to you at your expense
Return labels provided by us are billed at standard ground rates and will be deducted from your refund total unless we are at fault
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
Refunds are only issued for products purchased directly from the Five Owls Publishing website. We do not process refunds for items purchased through third-party resellers or platforms.

If you're requesting a return, exchange, or refund, you must contact us first at returns@fiveowlspublishing.com and receive approval. Unauthorized returns may be denied or delayed.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless due to our error.
If we provide a return label, the cost will be deducted from your refund at standard ground carrier rates.
We strongly recommend using a trackable service; we are not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.
Shipping Times for Exchanges
Replacement items are shipped once the original item is received and inspected. Shipping times may vary by location and item availability.
Shipping Liability
We are not liable for delays, losses, or delivery issues caused by the carrier, incorrect addresses, or freight forwarding services.
Customers are responsible for any additional fees, customs duties, or taxes incurred during delivery.
Once an order is dispatched, the delivery address cannot be changed.
This policy applies only to customers in the United States and is governed by U.S. consumer protection laws.
Nothing in this policy overrides your statutory rights under applicable law, including your right to a refund for defective goods.
